What are we doing to keep our patients and staff safe during the pandemic?
In order to come in for an appointment you must meet the following criteria if fully vaccinated or not fully vaccinated (**):- No COVID-19 Symptoms (click here for a complete list from the Government of Canada) - If child under 18: no nausea, vomitting, or diarrhea
- If adult over 18: no unexplained fatigue, lethargy, malaise, or muscle aches
- No current diagnosis of COVID-19 or instruction given to stay home and self-isolate within the past 10 days
- **No travel outside of Canada within the last 14 days - if you have travelled please review the COVID-19 Travelling Guide here. - **No contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 without wearing appropriate PPE
On the day of your appointment, we ask that you kindly:- Complete the online Pre-Appointment Wellness Survey before entering the clinic- Bring a mask and wear it when entering the clinic- Remove gloves (if worn) when entering the clinic- Use the hand sanitizer provided, after entering the clinic- Maintain social distancing of 2 meters while in the clinic
For your in-office visit, our staff will:- Wear masks at all times- Use hand sanitizer throughout the day following best practices for Healthcare Settings- Answer the Ministry of Health COVID-19 Screening Questions on arrival each workday- Maintain social distancing of 2 meters from others in the clinic (when possible)- Disinfect high-touch surfaces (e.g. door knobs and counters) hourly- Wear a faceshield, mask and gloves for all procedures - Wear a gown as required for certain procedures Additionally, you may notice:- Toys and magazines have been removed from the waiting room since these items are not easily cleansable- A Plexiglas barrier has been installed between the waiting room and the reception desk- Air Purifiers have been installed in all the treatment rooms and at the front desk- Signs have been posted to help remind our visitors of the current rules in place
